CBAS is an international research institution that aims to support theimplementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with big data.It stands at the intersection of earth system science, socio-economic science and sustainabledevelopment science, carrying out research on theories, methods and technical systems of bigdata to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), building an open and shared SDGbig data platform, promoting the development of the discipline of big data for sustainabledevelopment, and providing scientific data, technical methods, decision-making support andthink-tank services to solve sustainable development-related problems in China and the world.
