About

The Goa Institute of Management (GIM), is a premier business school located in the state of Goa, Indi. The autonomous school is governed by a board, and offers a full-time MBA (PGDM) program (2 years), full-time MBA (PGDM)-Healthcare Management Programme (HCM), two-year PGDM in Big Data Analytics (BDA) and executive MBA (3 years) and also is a resource centre for PhD programs in management for Goa University. Current MBA classes have a size of approximately 240 students and Healthcare MBA class has a size of 60 students.

The Mission of Goa Institute of Management is to create knowledge & nurture leaders for sustainable business and an inclusive society for India and the world while maintaining strong & ongoing commitment to Goa.

Vision

The Vision of Goa Institute of Management: To achieve a preeminence among business institutions in India and be acknowledged among the ten best Institutions in the country. To obtain international accreditation and be acknowledged among the fifty best schools in the world. Our graduates should be acknowledged as sound business managers with an all-round capacity, with environmental sensitivity, and social consciousness of their lesser privileged associates.

Centre for Social Sensitivity and Action (CSSA) 

The Centre for Social Sensitivity and Action (CSSA) was established in 2013 and acts as a bridge between Goa Institute of Management (GIM) and the society. GIM is a member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) Network India (GCNI) and a signatory of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). Following the ethos of UNGC and PRME, GIM seeks to create knowledge and leaders, for sustainable business and inclusive society.

CSSA plays a key role in translating this mission of GIM into reality. The Centre incorporates the values of equity, inclusivity and sustainability in all its activities. CSSA promotes and prioritises responsible management education and prepares future leaders to respond to the complex sustainability challenges faced by business and society.
