The Data to Policy Network is an interactive forum for policymakers worldwide to engage in collaborative learning and knowledge sharing.

Convened by the the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) the network provides policymakers with an opportunity to exchange insights on the integration of new data sources into their policymaking endeavors. Embracing a diverse array of regions, sectors, and governmental agencies, the network aims to foster mutual learning and catalyze collaboration among its members.

Data to Policy Navigator

The creation of the Data to Policy Network for policymakers builds on the  Data to Policy Navigator, a tool developed by UNDP’s Digital Office and GIZ to assist officials with varied levels of data science expertise. This tool offers a systematic approach to incorporating modern data sources into policy development and execution. With its user-friendly interface and customized guidance, the Data to Policy Navigator aims to empower officials to make well-informed decisions supported by data-driven insights.
