About
The Enugu State Economic Planning Commission is a state government commission responsible for economic policy planning for sustainable growth and development in the state of Enugu, Nigeria. The Commission carries out a wide range of functions, as demanded by the State Ministry and each Local Government. It supports the drafting and estimates of capital and recurrent expenditure of the Ministry or Local Government for its services and administration, considers and advises on their relevance to plan targets and goals, and ensures that the draft estimates are consistent with the economic policies of the State and Federal Government. It also creates plans for improved state infrastructure, such as roads, electricity, water, housing, etc., aiming to make Enugu an attractive destination for local and foreign investors, and to ensure adequate physical and socioeconomic environment for sustainable and equitable development.
Vision
To support Enugu State in becoming one of the twenty largest economies in the country by the year 2035.
Mission
To be among the first four most economically developed and self-sufficient States in Nigeria by the year 2028.
