Description
La DGDR se crea para ser la responsable de diseñar las políticas diferenciadas para la actividad agropecuaria, con el objetivo de alcanzar el desarrollo rural con una nueva concepción de modelo de producción, basado en la sustentabilidad económica, social y ambiental y con la participación de los actores en el territorio.
Cometidos Sustantivos
Desarrollo rural trasciende el ámbito estrictamente agropecuario, por lo que constituye en su esencia un esfuerzo integrador de toda nuestra sociedad y tiene como objetivo central la población rural.
DGDR se crea por Ley Nº 17.930 del Presupuesto Nacional 2005-2010, en abril de 2008 comienza a funcionar.
