About

Child Regional Education Support Services (CRESS Kenya) is  a nonprofit, Community Based Organization which provides slum communities in Kenya with tools they need to create bright futures for themselves.

CRESS Kenya’s programs are geared towards economic advancement, education advancement and human rights advancement. Since its inception in 2011, the organization has helped over 10,000 vulnerable slum children complete basic education, and empowered 800 youth and 300 women through entrepreneurship and vocational training. It has also trained slum women on how to make solar cookers using locally available materials. CRESS Kenya is also involved in a number of peace initiatives in slums.
