South-South Global Thinkers
In 2017, the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) partnered with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and launched South-South Global Thinkers, a global coalition of think tank networks for South-South and triangular cooperation. To date, South-South Global Thinkers brings together over 250 think tanks from all regions to enable joint research and knowledge sharing to inform policy dialogues and agenda-setting on South-South and triangular cooperation. The initiative aims to inform policymakers, practitioners and other development stakeholders on the value of South-South and Triangular Cooperation and on how to bring this approach to scale in order to accelerate progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.
