19 August 2020 – WFP China Centre of Excellence (WFP China CoE), Regional Centre of Excellence against Hunger and Malnutrition (CERFAM), and WFP Programme – Humanitarian and Development Division (Technical Unit for Food Systems and Smallholders Support) hosted a joint webinar series composed of three modules on post-harvest loss to support COVID-19 response mitigation. The South-South dialogue shed light on key topics such as policy frameworks on grain reserve management and storage management to help countries mitigate the impact of COVID-19, and innovative adaptations and ICT-approaches for market access to reduce post-harvest losses.
- First module: COVID-19 Coping Strategy on National Food Security and Grain Reserve.
- Second module: Post-harvest Loss Management and Warehouse Management – How the System is Operated
- Third module: Grain Trade, Food Market and Financial Supporting Strategies to Secure Food Security and Support Supply Chain against COVID-19.
