Directory of Institutions and Experts for Science, Technology and Innovation in Asia (UNOSSC, 2021)

Developed under UNOSSC’s Facility/Programme for Capacity Development for Poverty Reduction through South-South and Triangular Cooperation in Science and Technology (RoK-UNOSSC Facility) – Phase 2, the Directory of Institutions and Experts fo Science, Technology and Innovation in Asia profiles relevant science, technology and innovation as well as Information Communication Technology (ICT) institutions and experts. Specifically, these institutions and experts are from ASEAN+3 (Association of South-East Asian Nations and China, Japan and the Republic of Korea) countries and SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation). Institutions are categorized into research institute, government agencies, and non-profit or private organizations. Academia data includes university courses and research centres. For some organizations, background information including their mandates and international scientific collaborators were included. The database for experts is gender disaggregated.
