This document is based on the South-South cooperation initiatives in the field of health included in the Report on South-South Cooperation in Ibero-America 2015, which systematizes and analyzes the South-South cooperation maintained by Ibero-American countries1 at some point. of the year 2013.2.
Based on these data, the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization and the Ibero-American General Secretariat joined forces to propose this in-depth analysis of cooperation in health in Ibero-America. It is the intention of partner organizations to use an evidence-based approach to maximize existing synergies in regional health strategies and the dynamics of South-South and triangular cooperation.
