Zero Waste Foundation
Description
About
The Zero Waste Foundation aims to build an international culture that is both rich in community and wise in its approach to the environment. This culture is not drawn on geographical boundaries nor is it mediated through political lines, but instead is directed by the actions of the organization’s Ecological Servants, a group of men and women driven by their concern for the planet. This concern has led the Zero Waste Foundation to turn convictions into action through a variety of programmes, that range from animal rights advocacy to environmental justice and education, and litter clean-up campaigns across the globe.
The Zero Waste Foundation cares deeply about the earth and its inhabitants. It is our goal to live in harmony with the world around us, as we take steps to conserve our natural assets and to protect the environment. It is in these steps that we create the change that fuels the future. As recognized by the 2030 Agenda, we play critical roles in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals by raising awareness and mobilizing the public; building capacities and designing and implement projects; monitoring and reviewing policies; collecting data; providing technical expertise; and both supporting and holding governments accountable to their commitments.
