The Global Waste Lab
Description
About
The Global Waste Lab helps build a cleaner and more equitable world by supporting changemakers in the global South with waste management knowledge and skills. Waste is growing most rapidly in the global South, where there is a distinct lack of waste management capacity, leading to pollution and poor health and contributing to climate change. The Global Waste Lab shares waste management knowledge and skills among changemakers in the global south through multilingual video content and templates, delivering training, and facilitating South-South cooperation.
Mission
To inspire and equip 10,000 waste management changemakers across the global South in the next ten years.
Vision
A world where every country has its own waste management expertise, enabling context-specific, timely, affordable and sustainable waste management interventions that enable resource-efficiency, job creation, and a just transition to circular economy.
