About

Salama Heritage Ecovillage (SHE) Africa Ltd, is a Social Environmental Enterprise (SEE) based in Bishenyi, Southern Province, Rwanda. We connect communities for a Sustainable Africa. The SHE Africa call to action, calls for Africans to be the change they want to see in the continent by:

  • Building Communities in widening circles allowing citizens to bring compassion into a collaborative healing and right action;
  • Integrating the marginalised, allowing for the richness of diversity to unfold;
  • Providing hope and guidance to future generations, empowering youths to contribute actively to sustainable development;
  • Creating healthier relations with the natural environment - developing and installing regenerative energies, appropriate technologies and sustainable agriculture;
  • Building an economy that serves life and enriches the whole of a society;
  • Trusting in the capacity of each individual to change and empowering individuals to empower others.
