About
Clean & Proud is a non-profit project founded in 2018, aiming to help solve the waste management crisis in Malawi. The non-profit recycles local waste and educates the community through outreach programs.
Our brand, &Proud, was created to recycle the plastic waste we collect from Mzuzu, Northern Malawi, and into unique and ethical products. We collect waste by bike trailer, wash it, recycle it by heat-sealing it and finally tailor it into our beautiful range of ethical and sustainable handmade products.
