About

The National Academy of Governance is a Mongolian governmental training organization for civil servants and public administrative. The National Academy of Governance has active and collaborative relationships with a number of international institutions and universities in the area of joint training and workshops, providing consultancy service, organizing international conferences and exchanging faculty members and researchers.

The Academy also has working relationships with international development organizations and foreign embassies in Mongolia such as UNDP, UNDPF, UNFPA, the Asian Development Bank, the Hanns Seidel Foundation, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), International Association of Schools and Institutes of Administration (IASIA/IIAS), Asian Group for Public Administration, Turkish cooperation and coordination agency (TIKA), Local governance initiative and network (LOGIN), Tokyo Foundation for Research Policy, the World Bank, Embassy of Canada, Embassy of Federal Republic of Germany, Embassy of India, Embassy of Japan, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Embassy of the Russian Federation, Embassy of Turkey, and Embassy of the United States of America.

Mission

The core mission of the Academy lies in assisting the Government of Mongolia in preparing the next generation of leaders in Mongolian public and private sectors. it does this by training, re-retraining and developing pre-service and in-service public servants and business leaders to work and succeed in a plural democratic society and market economy by introducing them to the theoretical knowledge and practical application of Science.
