FortyGuard
Description
Founded in 2020 , FortyGuard utilizes AI-powered temperature intelligence to combat urban heat and democratize the use of temperature data for diverse commercial applications. Inspired by Jay\'s personal experiences with heat-triggered asthma growing up in the harsh climate of the Arabian Peninsula, FortyGuard began as a materials science venture aimed at cooling surface temperatures. However, Jay soon identified that the lack of precise data to understand heat patterns was the core challenge. This realization transformed FortyGuard into a data-driven climate-tech company focused on delivering actionable insights for urban cooling strategies.
At the heart of FortyGuard’s innovation is the Temperature Operating System (tOS), an AI-powered infrastructure that integrates geospatial, IoT, and environmental data to create high-resolution heatmaps, predict temperature patterns, and recommend customized cooling solutions. By capturing data at the canopy layer of urban heat—where it impacts people most—FortyGuard delivers accurate, highly granular, near real-time temperature insights. These insights empower cities, real estate developers, and governments to take proactive climate action, resulting in measurable outcomes like reduced urban heat, lower CO? emissions, and enhanced public health.
FortyGuard’s mission is to make cities cooler, healthier, and more sustainable by transforming urban heat into a data-driven science. Our vision is a world where climate resilience is seamlessly built into every city through precise, scalable temperature data and innovative cooling strategies powered by AI and machine learning.
