Global Competition for Drawings: 2025 Global Report on South-South and Triangular Cooperation

February 13, 2025

Background

The United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) engages with Member States globally, regionally, and within the UN system to facilitate practical expressions of Southern solidarity towards achieving internationally agreed development goals. UNOSSC ensures that our southern constituencies have timely access to high-quality analytical planning, mapping, programming, and reporting on data, trends and opportunities that will propel South-South and triangular cooperation in ways that ensure success.

UNOSSC invites youth worldwide to participate in a global competition to design the main cover of the upcoming 2025 Global Report on South-South and Triangular Cooperation. The competition seeks to highlight creative and inclusive perspectives through photos and original drawings, showcasing the values of the United Nations Charter upheld by the United Nations and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation.

The Global Report is a flagship report of UNOSSC through which it explores, highlights, and popularizes the key trends, opportunities, and challenges of South-South and triangular cooperation, as well as elevating the importance of South-South and triangular cooperation in tackling ever more complex challenges that the countries of the Global South and North are facing.
