IFAD – Manual de Buenas Prácticas de la Agricultura Familiar en la Región Semiárida de Brasil

The Manual of Good Practices for Family Farming in Semi-arid Regions brings together the experiences presented by the participants of the Technical Mission for the Exchange of Experiences between Countries of the Central American Dry Corridor – Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, and with Colombia, Peru and Argentina, carried out in Petrolina, Brazil, between November 19 and 26, 2019.

The manual is part of a joint and ongoing effort by the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) – Semi-arid to foster dialogue and cooperation between the semi-arid regions of Latin America and the Caribbean, in order to improve the resilience of the rural population. disasters and crises caused by drought and its effects on food and nutrition security.
