Forum on Awareness Raising Against Gender-based Violence, 25 November 2023

November 24, 2023
  • When: 25 November 2023 – 9:00AM (GMT+3)
  • Where: Retaj, Moroni, Union of Comoros

Since 2022, the Comoros Agency for International Cooperation (ACCI) has benefited from the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), for the promotion of initiatives on gender equality in the Union of the Comoros, particularly when it comes to the fight against all violence against women and children. It is within this framework that the SHWABAHA Platform was set up, which aims to be a strategic training and knowledge sharing tool.

Through the Shwabaha platform, ACCI allows young Comorians to better understand and be better informed on issues relating to Gender-Based Violence (GBV), with the aim of becoming major players in the fight against this scourge.

This year, with the support of the French Embassy in the Union of the Comoros, on 25 November 2023 the ACCI is celebrating the International Day to Combat Violence Against Women with the Forum on Awareness Raising Against Gender-based Violence.
