The g7+ has released the newsletter for November 2020. In this edition, it highlights the g7+ group joint effort to curb the COVID-19 pandemic which has not only affected the health system but has also greatly weakened the already fragile socio-economic sectors. The newsletter provides updates on g7+ activies and updates from its member countries. This included a “Statement of Solidarity and Cooperation: A call for concerted support in our efforts to curb COVID19 and other high-level dialogues for peer learning and sharing of experiences among the member countries.
The g7+ is an intergovernmental organization of 20 countries affected by conflict and fragility and on the transitions towards resilience. It aims to promote peace and state-building as the pre-condition for sustainable development.
