The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) is an intergovernmental organization mandated to accelerate the inclusive and sustainable growth of the digital economy to enable digital prosperity for all. To date, DCO brings together 16 Member States across Africa, Asia, and Europe. The DCO also brings together Observer from the private sector, civil society, and academia with the common ambition to enable the inclusive and sustainable growth of the digital economy.
Recognizing the unique opportunity provided by the future adoption of the Global Digital Compact (GDC) to build a global consensus on digital cooperation, DCO is committed to driving multistakeholder approach, creating new cooperation models, and co-create actionable solution to harmonize digital policies, enhance digital skills, and foster trust in the digital economy.
On the occasion of the Summit of the Future Action days, this side-event, co-hosted by the DCO Member States and Partners, will provide a multi-stakeholders platform to explore innovative digital cooperation model building on a revamped networked multilateralism to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development goals.
