This publication by the International Fund for Agricultural Development presents eleven stories of family farming development in semiarid regions, written by technicians and beneficiaries of IFAD-supported projects.
It is hoped that the experiences found in this book can be disseminated as successful practices in Brazil and in neighboring countries. For the preparation, IFAD carried out two face-to-face workshops through the International Semear Program and IICA with emphasis on the written record of experiences and on measures for the adoption and institutionalization of good practices. The book therefore shows the capitalization of experiences for a greater impact on rural development.
