Secretaría de Malvinas, Antártida, Islas del Atlántico Sur y Asuntos Internacionales del Gobierno de la Provincia de Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur La Secretaría tiene como misión proteger y promover los derechos e intereses de la provincia en relación con los territorios y áreas bajo su jurisdicción, al mismo tiempo que busca fortalecer la presencia argentina en estos territorios estratégicos. Entre sus funciones, trabaja en la preservación de la biodiversidad y el desarrollo sostenible, con un enfoque en la investigación científica en la región antártica y los recursos naturales del Atlántico Sur. Además, la Secretaría impulsa iniciativas de cooperación internacional en temas como el cambio climático, conservación marina, y el intercambio científico y cultural con otras naciones. Su visión se centra en consolidar un modelo de gestión territorial que reconozca la importancia de la región para el desarrollo de la provincia y el país en el ámbito geopolítico, ambiental y económico.
