NATIONAL INNOVATION RESEARCH AGENCY (BRIN)

This institution was founded by President Joko Widodo through Presidential Regulation Number 74 of 2019 concerning the National Research and Innovation Agency. Based on Presidential Regulation Number 74 of 2019, BRIN’s task is to carry out research, development, assessment, and application, as well as integrated inventions and innovations. 

Vision

The realization of a National Research and Innovation Agency that is reliable, professional, innovative, and has integrity in service to the President and Vice President to realize their Vision and Mission: "An Advanced Indonesia that is Sovereign, Independent, and Personality based on Mutual Cooperation".

Mission

1. Providing technical and administrative support as well as fast, accurate, and responsive analysis, to the President and Vice President in carrying out research, development, assessment, and application, as well as invention and innovation, implementation of energy, and integrated national space implementation and monitoring control and evaluation of the implementation of BRIDA tasks and functions.
2. Improving the quality of human resources and research infrastructure and innovation in the implementation of energy, and space nationally that is integrated and guide on the implementation of BRIDA tasks and functions
3. Providing effective and efficient services in the fields of supervision, general administration, information, and institutional relations
