Head of the Country and Subregional Coordination Office at the Pan American Health Organization, the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Regional Office for the Americas. She coordinates the 27 Offices of PAHO Countries and the 3 Sub-regional Programs, while leading the efforts so that technical cooperation responds to the priorities of the Member States, including the implementation of the Priority Countries Strategy. She also manages the relationship between PAHO and the United Nations System, as well as the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Mechanism of PAHO (Cooperation among Countries for Health for Development). Ms. Treasure has served PAHO for last 16 years in many Country Offices and in different capacities, including PAHO/WHO Representative in Honduras, Coordinator of the Regional Water and Sanitation Team (ETRAS) in Peru, Environmental Health Advisor Jamaica and Honduras. Before joining PAHO, Ms. Treasure was the Executive Director of the National Solid Waste Authority of Jamaica, Project Director for the Improvement of Environmental Conditions of Montego Bay and Negril (Jamaica), Coordinator of Environmental Health Determinants in Panama.
